Our mission statements says that “we believe that God is healing and restoring the world, and that we are recipients of and participants in that healing and restoration.” As such, we would like to help out those affected by food insecurity at this time. This page has two sections: help for those who need it and ways to help for those who wish to.

Diaper Bank of Skagit County They are like a food bank but for baby essentials like diapers, formulas, and wipes.
Food Lifeline They provide lists of food resources for Washington state.
Helping Hands Food Bank They provide food distribution all over Skagit County. The schedule is here.
Skagit County Food Assistance Resources This is a brochure that lists various food pantries and programs for those dealing with food insecurity. Click here for the Spanish version.
Skagit Gleaners They provide public food distribution to anyone in need from 3:30 – 6:30 p.m. on Saturdays.
Skagit Valley Neighbors in Need They distribute food at their location in Mount Vernon from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesdays. The intake form is here Their resource page includes links to recipes built around common food pantry items, links for help with computers and Internet services, and even links to free educational resources. They also have a list of other local food banks.

Skagit Valley Food Co-op is matching their register donations and giving the money to the Skagit Food Distribution Center, which is the central food distribution facility for all the food banks in Skagit County and enables them to work together.
