COMBATTING MISINFORMATION
Misinformation is all over the place these days. Here are some sources to help you combat it.
Google: This seems so simple, but many people don’t take the time to check if what they are hearing is accurate. If you read something that sounds a bit fishy, google the headline and see if anyone else is reporting it. If a variety of sources are reporting it, it’s probably accurate.
Snopes: This is one of the original fact-checking sites.
AllSides: This site has an excellent media bias chart, and it can show you the direction in which your favorite media sites are skewed. They will also take an issue or news story and show what sites falling on the left, right, and center are reporting.
