The purpose of St. Paul’s Preschool is to provide a safe, Christian-based environment where children are given the opportunity to learn through creative play and develop social skills.

Our teaching team has had preschool or early childhood education and is dedicated to provide a caring and enriching preschool experience. A teacher and aide teach each class and all staff has completed background checks.Play Time in the Parish Hall

Your child’s early education is important to us. Children learn through play and exploration and our goal is to provide a program that contributes to your child’s growth and happiness.

A Typically Great Day

A “typical” school day might go somewhat like this (we are flexible):

Wash hands, snack
Large Motor or Outdoor playtime
Storytime

How We Teach

At school children learn to socialize and get along in a group situation, to follow directions and listen to the teacher, to share, and to take turns. Preschoolers will be using paint, paper, glue, play dough, scissors, water, puzzles, etc. Some of these are messy materials so please dress your child in play clothes. Colors, shapes, numbers, and letters are taught along with various topics each month such as transportation, plants, animals, health and nutrition, and holidays.  Creative play, music, art, cooking, games, large and small motor play are all included in Art Project Underwaythe curriculum. We welcome special guests and take field trips to local places of interest. The children also attend chapel once a month.
